The Camp For All 2U program takes traditional camp activities to hospitals. The 2U program staff are responsible for facilitating activities like canoeing, fishing, archery, mad science, and talent shows, as well as cultivating camper relationships within ‘cabins’.

- must be 18 years of age or older
- experience working with children preferred
- must pass a background check if asked for an interview
- must be able to work during the dates listed on application and potentially extra hours as needed
- must provide personal housing accommodations and transportation in Houston area

- This is a paid position through Camp For All.
- Training takes place at the campsite in Burton, TX. Cabins are provided for camp staff during this time.
- One camp takes place in Austin. During this week, the 2U staff travel and room together.
- Staff are trained in how to lead activities, games, and camp songs. This training also includes how to teach activities to different age groups and learning abilities.
- There are numerous networking opportunities with the staff, volunteers, and host hospitals/locations.
- Staff have the opportunity to work with children and teens from all backgrounds. As a camp focused on children with challenging illnesses and special needs, staff get to work with a more diverse group of campers compared to other types of camps. This is a valuable experience for anyone hoping to work in the field of youth development.
